The rain started again before we even wake up at 4am .Anyway we had to pack our tents and stuffs before the shop open at 9,we waited until 9.45am and started our ride, the rain is not that heavy by our Malaysian standard, but the japanese like to called it tunderstorm as what reported in the weather forecast. What is annoying is that it don't seem to stop, and when the wind blow,it really chilled to the skin.I am wearing my cycling jersey plus my raincoat for the top,and only the cycling long pant.Sherco is more plain, with only a short sleeve adidas T and knee length short, plus a miserable army green flying plastic raincoat. With such cold, the only way to overcome it,is to pedal hard to keep our body warm, for such moment,i don't mind the climb and started to hate the downhill. We crossed 2 big bridges of Omishima and Hakata, couldn't take any photos but anyway still managed a few for posting. At of the the rest park with its name called Yoshiumi Ikiiki Hall, we decided to call it a day, though we only did 24 km and under 2 hr of riding. I just couldn't take the cold with my whole body wet.I told Sherco and we both changed to dry clothings, and the feeling is so much better.Afterall, bicycle touring is not about distance and destination,it is about enjoying the process,to go when its favorable, and know when to stop,if the going get tough.Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day...

    1. It was a miserable ride, soak to the skin and a good excuse for the short ride.
