Day 1 Wed 13/6 - Safely Arrived in Osaka and Stay with Wonderful Warmshower

Arrived safely in Osaka KIX Airport right on schedule

On the way to Jacquelyn in Kobe about 1 hr from the airport, our bike boxes no problem in loading onto the bus. Bus fare was however a little expensive 1900 yen about Rm76

We had to get down here to assemble our bikes which took me 2 hrs, while Jac cycled to get her bike from her house

On the way we go which is 5.3 km to ride to Jac's house

At the door step of Jac appartment on 4th floor, we left our bikes at the parking on ground floor

AirasiaX flight 07532 to Osaka KIX International Airport took off right on schedule at 1.00am on 13/6. Check-in was smooth with both our bike box and luggage weighing 20kg each plus a hand carry bag of 7kg,all to the max limit allowed.Thanks very much to Tony for sending us to the Lcct with his borrowed Honda Stream from his Aunty.After completed the check-in, we had time for some bread in Old Town white coffee,Sherco, my cycling partner from Penang for approx 1 month, had curry mee.The flight took 6 hr 30 min and touch down right on schedule at 8.30am in Osaka,Japanese time which is one hr ahead of malaysian time.Our warmshower host Jacquelyn who is teacher in an American school was there to gave us a warm welcome. We bought a bus ticket ( 1900yen) from the venting machine after our boxes were loaded into the bus which took 1 hr to reach at the last drop-off point in Sannomiya. While Sherco and I took time to assemble our bikes, Jacquelyn went home to come back later with her bike. It took us 2 hr to get the bike up and happily following Jacquelyn to her apartment some 5-6km .We met Jac's husband,Robert and we were treated with a wonderful dinner by Robert. We also went to the nearby market with Jac. After the dinner, we all sat at the open balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of Mt Rokko.
