What a great day to start with the sun already up as earlier as 6am,a total contrast of whole day rain yesterday. After a light breakfast,we were ready to roll at 7ish.Ominachi town centre is another 7km , not much of a traffic at this early hour, but many school boys and girls were cycling to school. We are about to ride thru a series of beautiful islands, connected by magnificent bridges built with the bicycle friendly lane. One of the school boy we asked and he show us the direction to cross the 1st bridge to Mukashima island, once into the island, there is many signage that direct us to the nice bicycle path all the way to Imabari which is about 68km to the main Shikoku Island. Many Japanese retiree were fishing around the lake to past time in such beautiful and relaxing environment. At one of the rest hut, one japanese couple on their motorbikes approached to talk to us and provided useful informations. Soon ,the 2nd bridge,Innoshima Bridge to cross to the other island. Here we met with a japanese cyclist Ryusei , a university student in Tokyo, we cycled together aftercrossing the 3rd bridge of Tatara Bridge and we can only setup our tent after 5pm when all the shops were closed in the RnR park. We had to pay toll for our bikes in crossing the bridge by honasty cos nobody there to man the toll.Nice park with all the facilities around eg:sitting table, toilets and stores, while waiting for time to setup the tents ,we throw out our smelly wet stuffs to dry under a hot sun.At night we cooked our dinner with comfortable tables and we shared the dinner with Ryusei.
